Planting a Dry Seed

April 23 2017 Pastor Goliday

1 Corinthians 15

When you're saved, you don't have to hold any grudges, hate others, nor let others evils effect you. This is a result of accepting Him as Lord and Saviour

We decide to live as much like Christ as possible

It's the fact we have hope for eternity after this life that keeps us from doing wrong day to day.

It is a sad thing to keep going to church and still not accept Him.

Know this, accepting Jesus Christ is more than just using His name. Doing anything in "the name of Jesus" means I'm going to do it to the best of my ability. Because we love Him, we consistently strive to do right by Him.

Do You Have a Fulfilling Life?

April 9th 2017 by Pastor Goliday

Colossians 3: 1-3

It's true, you'll always have enemies, but Christ has already defeated them!

To be in Christ, we've got to get over our hangups. Just take them off!

If we spend more time analyzing self, we'll have less time to criticize our neighbor. Does it fulfill your life to run around talking about folks? If not, stop! How can a person walk around feeling like you're better than someone else when in God's eyes, we are equal...

You'd be surprised, the more you push, the farther you can go.

Meekness is not weakness. Sometimes you can work through a thing, other times you gotta leave folks alone.

Longsuffering. Do you have a problem with this one? How long has the Lord been longsuffering with you? Think: to walk around angry at someone ultimately hurts you anyway. Get to the fulling life by letting that stuff go!

Paul says if you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour where He lives in you, and you accept He died for you and is now sitting on the right hand of God the Father, you can have access to this life

Knowing that, you don't have to wait to get to church to get happy. You can just remember where your help comes from and call on Jesus in your own way. Call on Him, sing to Him, ultimately there ought to be a praise in your heart. Praise your Lord and learn to enjoy your life.
